Removing Branding

They are heat transfer graphics. I used to work for a company that made these types of labels for all sorts of electronics. I'll get a hold of the chemist and ask him what would safely remove them without damaging the plastic.

Other than that the only other idea I had (and have NOT tested) is Meguiars PlastX plastic polish.

I was looking for the OEM look myself so I wet sanded mine w/ 3M 1500 then 2000 grit - covered w/ three coats of Krylon Matte Clear ... this matched my Corvette's interior almost perfectly. I know you want pictures! I'll snap a few tonight after work.

I doubt you'll be able to remove it easily. Looks like there even might be a clear coat over it too. Not 100% on that.

Just remove the trim and paint it. You don't even have to sand it so if you change your mind later on you can just strip the paint. I did that.
