karg Posted April 26, 2009 Report Share Posted April 26, 2009 I finally got the AVIC-D3 installed correctly to my NG900 Cab. Its factory radio is a little bit smaller than the Pioneer unit, so the installation hole needed some modifications. I had to cut off the plastic shelf under the SID unit and also make some heavy modifications to the installation cage. I cut off the bottom so that the cage would fit to the hole with SID and then install SID and Pioneer at the same time. Now the package is tight and working like a charm. Navi, BT-handsfree, iPod, everything.. All the Saab's 6 speakers are now fully operated with this.. maybe it still needs a subwoofer, but I'll think about that later.
