peterm69
Just recently my microphone has stopped working and no one can hear me when making or receiving calls. Can someone answer some questions? Firstly where is the mic on the 900BT? is it built into the unit or is it a plug in type that will be located somewhere in the car. If its the later maybe the mic wire plug has come undone on the back of the unit. Any suggestions how to fix appreciated. Pete p.s My unit came preinstalled when I bought my car from new. bego
The Mic is a plugin 1 and should be located somewhere in your cars interior its a small round plastic bit which looks like this http://www.carstereos4u.co.uk/car-stereos-accessories/pioneer-cd-vm1-microphone-1410167-315063-.php have a look at the back of the unit to check its still plugged in i guess
peterm69
Ok Great thanks. My next question is how do I get the unit out? I can take the facia off but I'm a little stuck at this point. Do I need a special tool to unclip it? Cheers
emu_destroyer
what kind of car do oyu have
bego
Dont know if this will be correct for you but if you take the black surround off you should see a clip either side of the unit. You need the "keys" to slot either side then you should be able to pull it out, If you dont have the keys you should be able to use some sort of flat object to release the clips. Good Luck
peterm69
Thanks guys. It's a Vauxhall Corsa. Called the cars dealers and they're coming out tomorrow to fix it. It's under warranty so I thought they should deal with it. Cheers again.
