spotke3
I got my avic v700bt installed about a month ago at best buy. Randomly this morning it stopped turning on. No matter what I do, when I turn my car on the headunit will not power on. Is there something I can do at home or should I just bring it into Best Buy? It also always said that "System Detected an error in the installation of the parking brake lead," or something to that effect, but Best Buy said to ignore it. solo
Most likely your fuse is blown. Locate the fuze panel for the stereo and check if it's intact. It happened to me once. If it keeps happening, your head unit is not properly grounded. I would take it back to BB and have them check the ground wire. Not all metal in the car serves as proper ground. toomtoomvroom
Most Likely you blew a fuse. I would just take it back to Best Buy and tell them to deal with it. Something must of shorten it out for the fuse to blow.
