elpolloblancotc Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 So I have my XM nav Traffic box hooked up and the audio works (i'm about to activate it with the nav traffic) but when i check the signal strength it says that it's not connected. Will the nav traffic still work even though it says this? Also anyone know it the Zwinback promo code still works? Oh and if it helps i have the xm plugged into the ipod adapter and then the ipod adapter into the stereo. But I've tried it the other way and it still does the same thing. Lemme Know. garrettoomey Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 You will need to connect a second cable directly between the XM/Traffic box and the Z. The cable is call the XM data cable, and is included in the box with the nav traffic unit. This is different from the IP-Bus cable that will also need to be connected.
