We just got the avic-d2 installed TUNER problems?? no radio!

we jus thad someone install the avic-d2 and there is no tuner/radio?? the installer said they will try to fix it tomorrow... (they had to order something else)
any possible problems
And how come everytime we press a button its a VERY LOUD BEEP can you change the volume on that its very very loud?

I had a Z1 installed by pros also and had the same problem. It turned out that they forgot to plug in the antennae. My '06 Honda Pilot had a different type of plug for the antennae. It's a connector not the conventional headphone jack type of plug. You might have the same situation. You may need some type of converter or harness, whatever you call it. That might be what he said he needed to order. Hope this helps and good luck ............

Yea...probably uses a different connector for the radio.....

For the beeps.... there are settings for that. Its under settings tab in the Nav menu if I remember correctly..... look in your manual.....

For the beeps go to settings; hit the info hard button, then system settings botton on the screen, then volume and decrease the setting for beeb level. For some reason the default set point is very high and it drove me nuts when i first powered my unit on.
