Phone pick up and cancel bluetooth?

I cant seem to find any instructions on this. Say I have people in the car with me and I get a call and want to just pick up my phone and cancel the radio picking up the phone over the speakers. Is their a way to do this?

I disconnect it from my Blackberry directly. You can chose "activate speakerphone" or activate handset" and it will keep the phone tethered (read: sound muted on HU) but all phone operations go to your handset. :thumbup:

Im not sure I follow. Are you saying to disable bluetooth on the phone or the radio? Or when a call comes in I pick up or select speaker on the phone?

You switch it on your phone. On mine it's listed as send audio to phone. Not sure about others.

Same with the iPhone, It lets you choose the Audio Source on the Actual Phone.

Same on WinMo phones -- while in call, on the Call Status screen there's a menu entry to turn off headset and send audio to the phone itself...

Same on Nokia, you can choose on the phone after the call is made to use the phone as handset or speakerphon cancelling the bluetooth connection.

 

What I do if I have a longer call to make is: Disable Bluetooth on the phone , make the call, enable bluetooth on the phone while on the call so the call will go through the AVIC. This will bypass the Bluetoth pop up on the Avic and allow me to use the Navigation, TMC etc. the way it should be.
