shippee
So i crashed my car over the winter into a tree and had to take my car into the dealer to get it fixed. It is a 04 mazda 3. I had installed an avic d3 6 months prior to the accident and i loved it and it played perfect. When i took the caar in i left the unit installed and took out my sub with the sub and speaker amp on the back of the box. When i put it all back in though nothing worked right. I had a terrible high pitched whine threw the speakers and when i would plug in the sub it exploded with sound. IHowever the speaker out puts work fine so i just listened to my rear speakers for a while. After finally getting annoyed of no sub i took it to a friends and used his voltage meter. Now there is no signal at all going threw the rca's. I guess they're shot some how. Any ideas? Anyone no how to fix them? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
diemaster
did you turn on the sub on the D3? it's posible that they pluged it into tre rear out intead of the sub out. a easy thing to do since we all know that the D3 has more rca's than a recording studio LOL
JacobStowers
Your RCAs' may have been cut of partially cut in the accident. I would re-wire all the connections to your amp just to be safe.
