klutch
i did a bit of searching and found this so far
Doing the bypass will allow you to use all the functions all the time. Pull the sticker, flip the switch, ground the light green parking brake wire. Done

i understand everything but the grounding part. so i can just ground it to any part of the car, not anywhere in general? and do nothing to the ipod? whtcrxghst
Easiest way is probably to just ground it to the ground on the harness with your other ground. The ipod adaptor has nothing to do with the bypass. Ipod adaptor just requires you to hook up power, ground, and the P-bus cable and then run the white cable to wherever you prefer to store your ipod in the car
