Could someone post the SDMLC file for an F900. I have been scouring this site and have yet to come across a copy.

I haven't bricked my unit but i need this file to possibly fix the error that the MSN direct is giving me"firmware update failed"...and of course Pioneer say"just send it back" with no guarantee or RMA number just a hope and a prayer that it will magically get back to me, so any help will be appreciated.

thanks

Aww cmon guys...this is easy...in fact testmode already has all of the tool you need to accomplish this little feat, It would fix(hopefully) my unit, and it only takes a few steps.

1: boot into testmode with the new version of it

Test mode can be found here http://itchybot.com/3.0%20Install%20Files.zip simply extract the folder called test mode onto an empty SD or USB drive, you can ;ignore all of the other files

2:select DiskRW

3:select read(should already be done) select SDMLC and give it a place to go in the propmpt(an SD or USB card )...

4:hit read

let it work until it says completed(should only take 48 sec)

5:upload the img file that was created on your card to a filesharing site or PM me.

Please note It has to be from an F900, if it is not my unit will not boot. Thanks in advance

2 DarkMaster, i shared my f90 UC dump before,

so, you can try use it at UC version

http://www.4shared.com/account/file/105 ... 09984.html

aso, i see baskup from you link, it also for UC, but also few bytes different also.

but i think problem not in SDMLC, if testmode working,

1) try wrute sdmlc

2) copy winceimg to sd and write it from uboot

3) back to testmode again

4) format my flash disk, and copy any backup to it

5) try reboot and check avic.

Have yet to try an F90 but i do not think it will work...i think it has to be an F900

Also what are the other 2 disk selections for in DiskRW?

I know you need a F900-- mine is a f90 with the 3.0 version on it. If you get desperate and want to try mine, PM me; I am not sure I follow all the steps above (have never done them), but I'm comfortable with Testmode and WinCE...
