drod77
Those look sweet, but you know what would look and work even sweeter? If you were able to make a rounded indentation on the front of the knob, like the oem one. Can that be done? I thought about that actually. I'm making one now to look at. I may change it while I still can. If I make the change I'll send you a free one for suggesting it. Stand-by Thomas, I appreciate you offering to send me one of the knobs. How can I go about getting you my info?

drod77
Thomas, I received the knob today. Thank you for the quick service. The knob looks and works great. This should've been the knob that came from factory. Fits perfectly. You are able to manipulate it better, more precise and is much more comfortable. Before I would press my old knob to activate voice control and it would sometimes, zoom in instead. With your knob, it works flawlessly. You make a very good product and I would strongly recommend this to everyone with an avic-x. Keep up the good work Thomas.

Dwimble
It appears to working. I have been receiving payments all day long today. Let me know if it still doesn't work. Is the USPS running paypal now too! I'm having a similar (or maybe the exact same) problem. I keep trying to send the $22 via paypal to thomashohl@comcast.net and it just keeps giving me the message, "Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again." And then below that it has the address line blank with this message in red, "--> Email Address: Please enter a valid address in the format name@domain.com" I've tried sending it as both a "Purchase" and as "Personal." Same error every time. It is acting like the email address isn't valid or wasn't put in there at all. EDIT: Weird, I had to manually type the address in to get it to work. Copy/paste wouldn't work. Over the years I've had that happen occasionally when trying to copy/paste from a website or MS Word, so as a precaution I ALWAYS paste things into Notepad first and then recopy from that, which always solves the problem...until today. Oh well, payment sent. Mike
rogue
Paypal made changes to its code. When you copy the email address from a forum and paste it into paypal, it also paste addition invisible html code... which is why you get an error. Ordering my knob as wee speak. Dwimble
Just received the knob. Who would have thought that a simple thing like changing the knob could improve it so much? The polished finish and the chrome ring around the AVIC-x910BT's factory knob looks cool, but it is ridiculously impractical. It's bad enough that the factory knob is so low profile that you need fingers like my two-year-old daughter to adjust the volume, but the chrome ring makes it worse because it is too slick to grip...even if you have small enough fingers. The custom knob solves it all. Thanks again!
