3.0 update issues(No street names in 3D view)

I recently uploaded the 3.0 update found here: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25751

 

I came across some problem though:

 

1.)I cannot update from the 3.0030 to the 3.01001 from pioneer

2.)In 3D mode street names wont show up on map. but in 2d it will any ideas

 

Also my unit is F700BT and not F900BT if that has anything to do with it.

I also followed the steps in the above link word for word twice.

I have a f900 with the same problem.

Did some researching in went in to Settings/Navi Settings/Smart Zoom edit(wrench looking button)

 

-Set the Zoom-Out level to 400ft or below. You can get them with 500ft but sometimes they dont show up till you're right on top of them..

I did this as well. Setting it even up to 600-700FT will give you some street names as well, but still, the 2.0 software used to be able to zoom out to abour 1200FT and still display street names. Crappy....

Is there a setting in the 2.0 software we could transfer into the 3.01 software which would allow us to see the street names again. I prefer leaving my system zoomed out so I can see upcoming streets but I also want to know the name of that street too.
