djwhitey
Anyone hooked it up yet? Does it have the same problems from the F-Series? (e.g. blank presets, etc)
my_black_RS5
I just installed the GEX-P10HD and yes, blank presets
djwhitey
the website calls for the P20HD Tuner on the "Accessories" tab http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 10BT?tab=C After your report on the P10 my hopes are now pretty low since F-Series reports on P10->P20 didn't solve that issue
bbruce
I hooked it up to my latest firmware X910BT and it works great, except it does have the blank preset ID issue... It sounds a heck of a lot better than FM! If this blank preset issue is known to Pioneer, are they gonna fix it?

jettech
What is the blank preset issue ? I just ordered a x910 and was planning on using the gex-p20d also.
djwhitey
you can have 6 saved presets per band, but whenever you save them, no text is saved with the preset. It's just blank
shaunieo
Hi, I was wondering how you guys hooked up the P20. I have an AVIC-X910BT hooked up to the p20 and get fm but no am...I'm thinking an antenna splitter to hook up the head unit might be a solution, but thought that the hd unit was all that needed to hook up to the antenna. djwhitey
I haven't been able to get AM either since they hooked up my P20. suggestions?
kakymax
I get both but am wanting getting a splitter to be able to use the msn direct feature and so that the AM Fm buttons actually do something since they are lit up.
shaunieo
hmmm..so you get both on HD without any splitter?! Interesting...My splitter will be here tomorrow.. Wonder why I'm not getting Am Digital though...Wonder if it has anything to do with the actual antenna in the car? Posted a Question to Pioneer about this and the Blank preset issue.. shaun
shaunieo
Response from Pioneer is very CRAPPY!!!! Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc. You should connect the antenna to the GEX-P20HD, if AM reception still week, you should get an antenna signal booster. Unfortunately for the presets, there are no updates or plans for an update. Thank You, Pablo Customer Service Representative Well there you have it...a thousand dollar stereo that they are happy we bought but aren't gonna really support!!! shaun
shaunieo
The splitter worked out fine for me, I get hd or regular...My other problem with no am is solved as well...seems my car has a built in am amp that is separate from FM...and the antenna control wire that I hooked up wasn't making a good connection.. no preset info though..
