Streaming Pandora with 3g iphone?

Recommended Posts

Just select ipod as source. Pause playback from the screen, open Pandora and the audio will stream from the dock connector to the head unit.

hmm ok... what cable are you using for your iphone? the one supplied from pioneer doesn't work w/ my 3g.. iphone has latest firmware.

I have iPhone 3g (not the 3gs) and I don't even pause playback. I just select iPod as source and once the music starts, I go to the Pandora icon and fire it up. It slowly turns down the iPod music and once Pandora loads, I am running.

Now, when I plug in my iPhone, it always complains that "this does not work with this unit, turn on airplane mode" Just be sure to answer "NO" Airplane mode will prevent Pandora from working, and text, and phone and anything not iPod -- but you knew that.

To my knowledge, I am using the cable that came with the unit.

Im running a 3g also, F900 with pioneer cable. Plug it in, ipod starts, go to your desktop and select pandora. Works real good :)

what I would like to see someday is my iphone screen displayed on my F900. but that may be too much to ask lol.

oh and does streaming music by bluetooth work with the 3.0(avic) update? I hacked/unlocked the tethering on my phone but nothing I have uses it, closest I came is a notebook seeing the phone but couldn't do anything
