mark191178
this worked perfect for my UK model, i used this EU v3 as the backup to save my blank screen problem. so now its fixed and well up to date, a point to note if you are useing this to fix your f900, follow these instructions to the letter http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=27155 "BUT USE THE WINCEIMG.BIN AND WINCEIMG.CKS FILES IN THE FIRST STEPS FROM THIS V3 DOWNLOAD (not from a diferent version)" had to mention that as this thread and the one mentioned above were my combined saviour! cheers

slyzer
Can someone help me with my update???? I´m driving crazy, there are too much different instructions and don´t know how to update my fu******* f900bt to the new 3.0 firmware version.......... This is how I've done it after reading dragon24's tutorial: 1 - Download the files on the first post, testmode 2.3 2 - In an 2GB SD card put WINCEIMG.BIN & WINCEIMG.CKS that are on the MyFlash folder on the root, create an testmode dir (with test mode in it). 3 - Start your car 4 - Press and hold the menu, map, eject buttons at the same time and hit the reset button. 5 - Once you hit the reset button, you will hear a pop sound from your speakers. 6 - Then the DVD/CD drive will load. When you hear this let go of the eject button but continue to hold menu and map buttons. 7 - This will bring you to a blue screen where you will have to enter the service combination - Up, Up, Down, Menu, Left, Right. 8 - Put the SD card and press Update CE 9 - Select Update SD Format 10 - Wait till it says restart in the bottom center. This will take about 2-3 minutes to install. 11 - Hit the reset button with the SD on the slot. 12 - Once WinCE boots up, double Click on My Device at the top left of the screen. 13 - Copy the content on MyFlash folder on the SD to the MyFlash drive on the device. 14 - Once done (it will take 20 to 30 mins) 15 - Press and hold restart and eject for 5 seconds.
