austinm22 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 Ok i recently purchased a July 06 Z1 and had it pro installed. However, the installed would not do the by-pass for me so this weekend i did the bypass. All was working well on the way home from doing it but when i woke up this morning and got in it i noticed the speed pulse is not reading at all. is this part of the bypass or did i unhook something? Second my gps is all over and providing horrible info. Think something might has came unhooked. I checked and its having a hard time getting signal and one of the the little hookup things lites on and off....Any ideas? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you are having a problem it is not related to the bypass except for that something might have come loose or disconnected when you were doing the bypass. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cntrylvr79 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 If there's a physical problem with the gps antenna, in the connection status screen it will say NOK next to the gps signal. As for the speed sense, check and make sure the pink wire is still connected to the back of the avic. Some tmies that little connector gets pulled apart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
