Tosh
Hey ya'll, i did a search on the forum and couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. I have a lifetime subscription to Sirius radio and probably for the past 4 or 5 months whenever i tried to use it it MAY work for 2 mins then it cuts out and always says acquiring signal. I re-hooked it up triple checked all the wires. The antenna is on top the car and everything. I moved down to del-rio texas where they have 2 stations...so wanting my sirius pretty bad lol! any help would be awsome! thanks all -tosh
norcalmike
its probably the Sirius box. My SCC1 went bad and Sirius replaced it under warranty.
Edwez1
Have you tried a new antenna at all??? Those antennas can go bad.
1loudls
+1 the most common problems with sirius systems is the antenna will go bad and need to be replaced, i have also seen on a few occations where the sirius box goes out and needs to be replaced. "acquiring signal" or "Antenna Err" = usually means there is a problem with the antenna, the sirius option not showing up as a source = usually means there is a problem with the box
