garypen
You will need a 2GB SD card. Do a search for "new testmode files", and download and unzip them to a folder you create on the card called "testmode". (Make sure you get the new one, not the outdated one in the Hacks/Mods sticky.) Boot up the Avic with the card inserted. It will boot into a Windows CE desktop. Use a smartphone pointer or some other non-scratching pointer to make touch selections on the screen. Tap Start/Programs/Windows Explorer to open Explorer. Tap once on "My Flash Disk". Choose "copy" from the edit menu. Tap twice on "storage card" to open contents of SD card. Choose "paste" from File menu. All of the operating and user files from your Avic will be copied to the SD card.

garypen
I forget the version number. But, it's the one with only the testmode folder. The older one has two folders, testmode and mitabac or something like that.
