I fiberglassed the F500BT unit into the overhead console since I already have an In-dash Touchscreen and I also drilled a hole for easy access to the USB input (pic3)... I wouldn't however use a nav system so high as its totally out of my road vision field. I think the highest point should be below the mirror, but thats of course not practical for such a large-screen device. It is great if the kids in the back don't have their own displays...
