I hope it dont take long to get here... the dpdursst and IDT mods are driving me to update my unit.... I hope it dont fuck up my unit like alot of others here get hung up at the 2nd sd card.... (not the hacked mods) anyways.,,,, I know someone already asked this... I just dont feel like looking its a real mess here..... I have a modded unit, should I reset everything before going to 3.0 or just update it as is.... thanks guys Quote Link to post Share on other sites

basstoy Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 well I used the "reset to OEM" zip that I got here a few weeks ago.. and I reset the unit... then I upgraded to 2.06. I am ready... I hope it goes smooth., anyways, damn this unit is bland stock. whats up with the scale bar and the route info stuff there when there is no route active? lol and the cancel route is behind the menus? and NO mute button... wtf were they thinking??? Wrathernaut Posted September 26, 2009 Report Share Posted September 26, 2009 I recommend what was brought up by another owner - hook up a battery charger during the update so you don't have to leave the car running, but you can leave it in the ON position without fear of unnecessary wear on your battery.
