jjhwick119 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Share Posted October 19, 2009 i heard a rumor you couldnt add XM sat and HD to the unit and u had to do one or the other, or there was another external antenna you have to use to get them both to work on the unit can any1 confirm or deny this rumor? im putting this setup in a customers car this weekend so i need to make sure i didnt promise something i cant deliver, or if i need to get another part i can get it ordered Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted October 20, 2009 Report Share Posted October 20, 2009 XM uses the XM sat antenna, and the HD tuner uses the factory installed radio antenna. Both units connect in series on the IP bus. both are supported at the same time... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
