Pastooch
Hello everyone. I am new here so if this question has been asked before I apologize in advance. I have an F900bt running version 2.006. I see from the Pioneer website that there is a free update version 3.0101 for the 910bt. My question is will this update work on my machine? If so do I have to have a newer version of the firmware before I can install the update. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to pay for the update from 2.x to 3.0 before you can use the update to 3.
Typhoon87
Where on pioneer's site do you see a 3.01 update? What does it fix/change? I thought that 3.01 was only for the X series.

I thought that 3.01 was only for the X series. you can read the release notes to find out what is fixed or changed. I don't know/care what Pioneer's official stance is on using X series updates on F series, but most of us are having success applying it to our F series.
