rscocca
[/b] while driving to Florida from NY my newly installed Avic-z1 kept rebooting. i installed the system myself (18 Years as an auto electronics installer) i have double checked and isolated all connections, all OK. is this problem a programming or hardware problem? Version 1.00 software on a unit made after June of 06. HELLLP
cntrylvr79
Year/make/model of the vehicle. When you say it reboots, you mean it's totally shutting down?

cntrylvr79
I'd look into the datbus interface being suspect. Try running an accy wire from the ignition. If it stops randomly rebooting then oyu know it's the interface causing the problem.
