If you turn the brightness up to make it easier to see during the day, then it blinds you at night. I like having my instrument lighting turned down at night, make it easier to see into the dark(look out for deer). Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

WScottCross Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 The only thing I found was that the backlighting had 2 setting modes one level for when the headlights were off and another one for when the headlights were on. I found this after updating to 3.0 firmware, so I'm not sure if it's related to that update. I just set it to bright when I had the headlights off, turned on the headlights and turned it down and it remembers each setting and automatically switches with the headlight switch.
