chenzie11 Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 i had not been on avic411 in MONTHS. i recently was checking the site and the pioneers site and ran across some things. while i am still running the original os, on http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 90BT?tab=F you can download a firmware update. i thought verison 3.0 cost money and wasnt free? is this free download really 3.0? and i am having a ton of problems with my mic. i want to unplug it and plug it back in but idk where it connects to the unit. does it connect right to the back of it or is it tied into the wire harness? sorry for the ignorance everyone, thanks in advance! vinnie Quote Link to post Share on other sites
DHL Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 That updates your stereo to firmware 2.006, and yes 3.0 is a paid update. As for the mic, it plugs in to the back of the unit.
