enkrypt3d
My 2GB SD Card works fine albeit a bit slow..... but my 8GB SDHC card does not work and is not recognized at all by the AVIC... this 8GB SDCH card only works in my camera... WTF? Is there ever going to be SDHC support on the AVIC? Thx
Riverman
It supports SDHC just fine. I use a 4GB Panasonic SDHC card in my F700BT. Try formatting your card on a computer or in the AVIC (if it has that option) instead of in your camera.

Try formatting your card on a computer or in the AVIC (if it has that option) instead of in your camera. My 8GB SDHC that works fine in my camera doesn't work in any card reader or my AVIC regardless of how i try to connect it... The only way I can get the pics off the 8GB SDHC card is to plug the camera up to my PC... I have tried formatting it FAT32 with no luck... none of my card readers see it - so I can't copy files onto it... useless! I want to buy a 32GB or a 64GB SD card and just leave it in the AVIC... Which one works?? And I'll buy it! Thx!
nipLVII
Are you using a SDHC card reader? I didn't think there was a difference, but in order for winXP to recognize the card you will need to get a SDHC reader. Then you will be able to format or whatever. (your 2 gb card is probably just SD w/o the HC) The avic definitely supports SDHC. Once you get the new reader you will be able drag and drop music files to your card. Most recommend that you create several folders to put your music in---whether by genre or artist to get the best performance from the avic.

ez2rock
Just a quick note. I bought a PNY 16GB Optima today. Loaded 11 GBof music on it and it works great. Very responsive as well. I have each Album in a seperate folder. Took about 45 seconds to load everything and after that, works flawlessly. Also continues after a powerdown.
