All the items are listed there, but yes it does have the new POI's, speedcams maps ect. as well as the testmode Simplified follow the instructions post in the OZ map thread but, extract to sd boot test mode backup unit edit sys.txt copy over the files on your unit delete the user data files The only changes you need are to alter the sys.txt to correct your model id Cheers 34by151 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Do you recommend updating to Version 3 firmware first and using ur V3 update package? does V3 have a faster boot time to that of V2? jarryd Posted January 28, 2010 Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just brought a f90bt us model off ebay, alhough i cannot get it to boot to windows so i can put the aus maps on. i followed the instruction in the 1st page in the oz update thread, first i got the firmware Https://www.pioneer.com.au/avicf900btDownload.aspx and installed this to my avic from my sd it worked fine. next i put the files i extracted from http://www.4shared.com/file/95580165/5b ... part1.html http://www.4shared.com/file/95583929/2a ... part2.html http://www.4shared.com/file/95577170/2d ... part3.html it gave me the 5 files mitacap,backup, testmode, readme, update. i put these on my sd card. i put it in the sd slot, turn the car on and it just keeps going in to the main screen and doing nothing, i tried several times, and didnt work. then i restored my avic back 2 original factory settings hoping maybe that was a problem, and tryed to boot with the sd card and it just went straight to the main screen again. i have no clue as to what im doing wrong. is all i want my system to do is function with the gps music and all other standard features. could somebody body please tell me what i am doing wrong? or if any1 has enough time maybe a detailed message on how to get the system functioning correctly like as if i purchased it from a shop in au. thankyou guys any help is much appreciated!! 34by151 Posted January 29, 2010 Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 Have you altered the sys.txt yet? The update was made for OZ models so you will have to change the device line back to your model. Check your backup and look in the sys.txt for your model. the Oz f700,F900 and F90 is "PIONEER746EW" yours is more than likely the "PIONEER746UC" Make sure you have all all of the lang and voice files. Thanks in Advance. As far as I know the x910bt runs the same software and maps.
