swong46
Hey, I am debating which one to buy. It seems that the x910bt does mostly everything the z110bt does What do you guys suggest? Is it worth the $200 difference?
crf1000
I have been wondering that as well... I think something big is going to happen with the 110 though... Pioneer can't have their flagship model the 110 outperformed by the series below it... I think its a little funny that they are not saying much about the 110 or even a newer model for that matter, unless they have something in the works for their current top of the line model. We may not become aware of it this weekend with CES but its coming.
crf1000
I am holding out for the 110. It definitely has the most potential of all the units out there... I would wait if you can. Trust me its killing me, but I think its the best move.
VBLUE42
There not saying anything about it because there is nothing to say. The 110 is going to remain the way it is for now. Maybe an update soon but nothing significant.
swong46
so... what makes the z110bt better? the 910 still has voice command right? or is it not as great?
CamelTowing
The 910 has a 5.8 inch screen. The Z110 has a 6.95 inch screen. The Z110 also does dual zone. I am sure there are more differences but I am far too lazy to look on pioneerelectronics.com to state them for you. Now you know where to look
d94
i too was going through the same debate. ended buying a used 110 for $600 and im happy i did. the unit boots up in about 10 seconds, backup camera immediately turns on when i go into reverse and the whole unit just operates flawlessly with the big beautiful screen. also no lag from my steering wheel controls nice jump from the d3 in my old car
Ferendon
It also has a customizable home screen, BT audio, Hi-Volt preouts, 7-band EQ, and a much better voice command system. It also catalogs the VR content in the background, instead of taking over the unit. From Pioneer's site : Key reasons to upgrade from AVIC-X910BT: Powerful processor with video accelerator New Customizable Shortcut Menu Larger 7" display (WVGA high-resolution) Motorized Display with Automatic Display Positioning (5 settings) High-Volt Preouts x3 (4 Volt) for clean, powerful signal to optional amplifiers 7-Band Graphic Equalizer provides more precise audio tuning control Bluetooth Audio Streaming (A2DP and AVRCP) Navigation destination entry by Voice Control (Address Search, POI selection by category or brand name) Background processing of Voice Recognition (VR) Cataloging City Map display 5 Simultaneous route calculation Road Preference routing and Intelligent Re-Route Brand Icon POI's Optional Mexico Map (CNSD-OMM013) Fuel Cost Routing & Report Dual Zone Audio/Video Advanced A/V Codec with additional formats (WMV and H.264) for USB/SD Card playback
jwq
As said, you should probably now look at the new x920bt ...
swong46
Hmm, so now it is z110bt vs x920bt
