KoozyK
So, I have the AVH-P3100DVD with the CD-BTB200 for bluetooth. The handsfree and autoconnect are working great with my iPhone 3GS, but I can't get the phonebook to import. When I go to the screen to perform the import, I hit 'Start' and then my iPhone's bluetooth get's disconnected. Then the only way to re-connect it is to re-pair it. Weird. I read online (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647) that the iPhone supports the phonebook import bluetooth profile with the latest updates, so I don't know why it would be difficult. Any help if someone else has encountered this. I think the AVH-4100 is pretty much identical to the 3100 (except for screen). If someone's found out anything for eith deck, it may work. Thanks! KoozyK
OK So, I did a lot more looking around and found that the iPhone cannot download the phonebook/call logs to the BTB200 because of a profile mis-match. The BTB200 uses the OPP to pull this information while the iPhone uses the PBAB profile to provide this feature. I urge anyone with this hardware to write a quick message to Apple requesting they add the OPP profile to a future firmware update. You can do this at this page: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
