ChrisRam
What's up with the Z110 not supporting Pioneer CD changers over the IP Bus? Has anyone went ahead and tried it?
CamelTowing
It doesn't work. Didn't work on last years F-series either
VBLUE42
CD changers are yesterdays news. Kinda like VCR's when you have a DVD player. The future is with the iPod as a mass store media device.

RANDY350Z
I would agree also and I'm an ipod guru. You should be able to connec it to EXT 1 or 2 you just wont get the full cd text or grphics on it.
VBLUE42
There is no way to control a Pioneer changer through the EXT inputs. The only way to do this is to find a changer that allows external control.
RANDY350Z
I'm not a 100% sure it will but I have a D3 and I can control the xdv-p6 dvd changer and the usb thru ext 1 and 2. Try it, it won't screw anything up, just won't work.
RANDY350Z
Also I have my Carrizzeria/Pioneer MD changer connected to Ext. 1 ---I disconnected the USB and I have full control of the changer.

Actually you would think they would make one of those 12 cd changers to a DVD changer. And if they are really heading towards using mostly SSD instead of optical you would think they would design them with out the low max on the flash drives.
CamelTowing
The current Pioneer 12-disk CD changer hasn't changed in almost a decade. They were long done investing in changer technology. Think of it like Pioneer would from a profit standpoint. For every 1000 Z110s they sold, somethin like 1% of people would actually use a DVD changer. That same ridiculously low amount of people can figure out how to use the XDVP6 if they REALLY needed it so there is no use for Pioneer to spend more than a penny to develop a new 12 disk changer to accomodate those folks. RANDY350Z
^^ Details please. just connect the Ip-bus cable and the normal power / ground connection. Select ext 1 since it will assign it to that ext. Use the grid on the screen to control your changer 1-6 , < > controls rr , ff .

Ya I see your point. I would just like to see the XDVP6 be a little more integrated. Oh well. But maybe they are heading more towards SS. Assuming that lack of a max on USB listed in the 120 manual is correct.
