brucknerdoc Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 Hey! I installed this unit on a Lincoln MKX a couple of months ago with a PAC SWI-PS and it has worked fine until this week. Suddenly, the steering wheel buttons for volume have been working strangely - volume down works rarely, and volume up only sporadically (but more often than vol down). The rest of the steering wheel buttons still work fine. Any thoughts? I'm thinking I'll have to pull the unit to re-program the SWI-PS Thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

At first I thought it was my actual buttons since the car is 8 years old but after replacing the SWIPS the problem went away. definitely try reprogramming the SWIPS first and if that doesnt help look into swapping it out.
