Jay eM aRe Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 for some reason i can't get my phone (verizon lg chocolate), my phone finds the pioneer bluetooth, but after i enter the pass code i get a screen that says "pairing", then it goes to "Failed to pair items" or something. I also tried my dads phone motorola krazr (verizon too). i got incorrect passcode. any ideas? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ducatiboy Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 Well, did you check the passcode for each device and make sure it's being entered in correctly? The KRAZR coming up with a bad pass code means just that, the codes for pairing on each device are different, so they won't pair. Also try initiating the pairing from the z1 size or from the phone side. Sometimes phones are picky and they will only pair one way (depending on who initiates the pairing). Megatron Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 well if the chocolate works then for sure the z1 uses OBEX for the phone book. Because no verizon phone I know of supports the OPP profile. I was worried that I would have to flash my e815 with the alltell firmware to get it to work fully with the z1. But I've already done the seem edits to enable BTDUN and OBEX so I should be in the clear. Good news indeed Quote Link to post Share on other sites
