bigolyt
Anyone know the differences between the 2? I know the F90 has the old maps/FW. Im looking to get a new unit and I can get a X910 for about $50 more then the F90. Just curious about the differences, loadup time, maps, etc.
Jeffs64
If you get an F90BT and upgrade it to the 3.0 firmware it would be the same as the X910BT. Except the F90BT has 4.0 volt preouts for an AMP and would sound better. Load up /boot up time is much faster with 3.0, both of my F900BT and F90BT loadup in about 20-25 seconds. So there you go have fun. as always take care Jeff R.
bigolyt
Has anyone went from the F to the X and noticed any differences? I need to pull the trigger on one of these units and dont want a make a mistake going with one over the other.
dianebrat
Personally I would need the F series to be 1/2 the price of the X series to make the jump, if it's even close, the X is the way to go, newer will have a longer life, esp in regards to updates in the core OS. Jeffs64
I agree with Diane. But my F90BT boots up faster than a stock X910BT or at least the one I looked at. But it was a refrub X910BT. As i said in the pm I sent you the X910BT already has 3.0 firmware installed and is a newer model.
