Z110BT Mic does not work.

Recommended Posts

It's an electrical tool that allows you to measure current, in real time, traveling through a wire.

I have heard that you can tie into the rear wiper switch (?!?) which will control the dimmer/illumination wire. This is a brown wire with a white stripe.

the trailblazer depending on the year may not have a light wire at the radio harness. it may be done thru can bus data. hook the pioneer ill. wire to the ash tray light wire, or a lighted switch near the radio. that will dim it when the auto lights come on or when you turn them on yourself. jim

Quoted for truth. This is the route I will probably take with my 4Runner since the dash clock dims when the headlights are on. This is good advice, that wiper switch tip freaks me out.

ok. Got it to work just fine. Its the Brown/White stripe wire in the wiper harness. Works like a champ. Just waiting for the replacement mic and I can close up the dash. Still cant get the thing to sync with my ipod yet. Look into that next. Thanks all for your help and input.
