joeshmoe Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 Has anyone else experienced an intermittent bypass signal? Usually at boot up, the HU will either give me the parking brake error or not. This seems to signify if it detects the bypass or not. I'll test it by playing a movie while driving and it confirms that sometimes the bypass works and other times it doesn't. I'm thinking there is a loose connection. However, I've got all grounds on a common ground so I know there is a good ground connection otherwise the HU as well as other modules I've got installed would not work. I've also buzzed out the wires at each termination so it would be odd if it was not making a connection. I'm thinking maybe at the connector on the yellow wire that was moved to the other pin location. It may not be seated properly but it just seems to me that it should either make contact or not (not make contact sometimes). Any thoughts? Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
