titanav Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 Hello everyone, Im new to the site but not to the avic series. This is my problem. I bought an N1 off ebay that didnt come with any disks. I installed the system yesterday and tried my mothers original east dvd and did not recognize please insert appropriate disk. Then i tried my brothers original east disk and got the same message. I called pioneer and they told me the unit was probably upgraded and i dont have the proper version. Wich makes sense because when i grounded the parking brake wire i get this message i have never seen on any of my other n1's that have the wire grounded. The message is improper parking brake connection please read saftey manual and when i increase speed the movie goes to audio only.
