djtripd Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 I have a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro with the Connect2 box for the CAN-BUS system in the car. When I originally hooked up the Z110BT to the Connect2 box under the settings menu it would report the Illumination as being "on" regardless of the fact the headlight were off, turning them on made no change. This means that the unit is always stuck in night mode. So I decided the Connect2 box was defective and I hooked the Illumination wire directly into my headlight switch (blue/grey wire) using guides from the Audi forums. I also checked the voltage and confirmed that it was at 0V with the headlights off. Again, fired up the Z100BT to find that the Illumination is still stuck in the "on" position. SO I'm at a loss, does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I would really like to get this fixed at some point. Thanks for any help! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
