oldlady2
Will the new map updatedisks install properly if the brake bypass has been applied? Literature has an emphasis placed on setting the parking brake like the install will fail, if you don't do it.

hagow_boy
I did my upgrade while I was driving and had no problems. My D3 has the bypass installed and I never used my parking brake.
oldlady2
Thanks only I will not do it will driving!!!! I am very confident with computers but when the directions say you cannot go back, and warn of possible problems when installing where there is a brake bypass, I sit up and take notice.
