Robert Hodgen Posted May 11, 2010 Report Share Posted May 11, 2010 I tested my Z110BT in the car after I had already removed my old navigation system. I wanted to make sure that the FM antenna and all speakers worked fine so I just connected the car's wiring harness to the AVIC and turned the car on. One side note is that if you had to disconnect anything to install your AVIC you might get an error from the car, my VW was giving me an air bag failure because I powered it on with the passager airbag on/off light unplugged, had to stop by my dealer to have them reset it.
