N1 mod & N2 Brain

I'm running a N1 mod, N2 Brain and 60mp software. My problem is the screen during nav will periodically freeze but the voice guidence doesn't skip a beat.

 

Is this because the head unit is searching the dvd when navigating? Or is it possible something went wrong during the N1 mod process? Could it be the N1 can't keep up with the 60mp software?

 

Please if you have or had this problem any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an N1 HU with a N3 brain. Initially, I had all kinds of problems reading the 60M disks. After about a dozen attempts or so, I was finally able to completely read the 60M disk. I ended up making a copy of the disk and use it. I haven't had any problems since I started using the backup disk. Just something to think about.

 

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the N1, N2, and N3 all have the same CPU and 64MB of RAM. I wouldn't think that there would be any performance/processing differences between the units.
