jonyb
I'm trying to do the bypass on a Z2. I've searched everywhere on here, and it keeps bringing up Z1 stuff. In one particular thread, there's a link that says "to do the 2-wire bypass for the Z2, click here". Clicked, and saw pics of a Z1 harness, and absolutely nothing on the Z2. On the Z2, there are no extra slots to change wiring pins, so do you ground the mute wire and the parking brake wire?
dawgbone
Just do the 2 wire bypass.... no need to use the "hacked" update.... Just do the 2 wire ground...
jonyb
Yes, I know you ground 2 wires. You don't understand what I'm asking..... Which 2 wires, which one gets moved? Everything I've found is for the Z1 and this IS NOT a Z1, the harnesses are different. I think it's figured out anyway. Someone should either start a new thread or find the old one and re-sticky it. VBLUE42
There the same unit. That is why it references the Z1. Just do what it says in the Z1 thread.
garrettoomey
Same Harnesses, same bypass for Z1, Z2, and Z3. If you have different harnesses, then you do not have a Z1, Z2, or Z3.
