mreed428
Hello all, Recently upgraded from Z2 to Z110BT. After having had numerous issues with the parking brake bypass on the Z2, I decided on the Z110BT to wire the green wire to the parking brake as directed. So I teased out the hot wire and patched on to it. Confirmed it with voltmeter and brake operation. Fired the Z110BT up and still got the @!#%*! error message. @!#%*! Any ideas? Thanks
VBLUE42
Perform the bypass or download and install the latest Z110 update from the Pioneer web site.
CaptainInsaneO
If you're wiring the green wire to your parking break, you're not doing the bypass. You need to read the instructions again.
stoveken
yes you must isolate p-brake wire with diodes. cut e-brake wire in half 2 diodes stripes towards e brake green wire from z to one diode and e- brake wire to dash lite on other diode. the bulb circuit sometimes will show a little resistance to ground and the z sees it as always on. jim

There is a thread on this forum that details the correct bypass proceeder.
