skinny nj
Now for my first post... Would everyone love to know how to charge the iPhone 3GS on the Avic D3? Forget about buying those obnoxious adapters everyone posted about, although the posts were made with good intentions... The real way to charge your newer iPhone and iTouch models, is to purchase the updated cable made specifically for this problem.. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Peripheral+ ... RRWidgetID Yes, it is rather expensive but I will give you a hint... If you can't afford to spend this cash: DELETED. -Skinny P.S. I read that some people had trouble with this actually working with new models, but there is a sticker on the front of the box that says it will work for iPhone 3gs. Give it a shot, I had no problem, and if it doesn't work return it.
1loudls
Now for my first post... well since this post was made after your first post, this would make it your second post If you can't afford to spend this cash: go to school and get a better job so that you dont have to resort to stealing shit the rest of your life PS: this option will lose the ability to control you ipod from the touch screen, and watch videos! Ixian
Now for my first post... Yes, it is rather expensive but I will give you a hint... If you can't afford to spend this cash: DELETED. -Skinny Lame. Super lame. You think that's a victimless crime? That it just affects Best Buy and they are so big it doesn't matter? Wrong. Stupid shit like that hurts all of us. Stop giving moronic advice. If you have enough cash for an iPhone and an aftermarket stereo for your ride you have enough to afford the right cable without resorting to cheap tricks that in the end just makes it harder for those of us who are on the right side of the law. 1loudls
what a J A B R O N I E i cant believe that he posted it twice, like he thought everybody would find him cool for "sticking it to the man" i figured advise that good, it would be worth it to see what his other post were, and what other sweet advise he would give other people, man was i disappointed when i found it was just a cut&paste into his own thread. to OP: dude you should start your own forum on how to get free HBO from the cable guy you just blew and leave the advise, tips and tricks to the intelligent people and the pro's
skinny nj
alright.. I will be straight forward and honest I admit I was trying to be cool by saying that.. I am not a cheapass, although my post stated otherwise.. I am 24 years old and my sister is a police officer, sorry for sounding like a dirtbag, I did honestly do this type of shit when I was 14.. which I am not at all proud of. I am on my way to getting a Master's degree in Mathematics. So maybe I figured it sounded cool, and that was very immature of me.. but I will keep the peace and leave thos forum.. sorry again.. -skinny p.s. it is good to see that this forum is at least filled with mature good people.. take care

skinny nj
I know this is slightly off topic but has anyone completed the task of deleting the inevitable warning screen on the Avic's? I have been fondeling with the hex code and I may be coming close.. I think that people may have been having trouble before because the code may be controlled from multiple files on the nav disc.. vegeto2k222
If I get this wire I can't use the touchscreen to control my iPod anymore? Has anyone ever tried the pass-through device that stanghater posted http://www.cablejive.com/products/dockStubz.html It looks like he works for the site since that's all I've seen him post so I can't really take his word it works.
