Nebster
Ok well i just got my avic d2 last night and i went to install it and got most of it and said i would leave the hack till today. BUt i was looking at it and where do i get this spare wire people talk about? What wire can i just not use and put in the spare pin. Also i didn't hook up my speed sensor wire bc i wasn't sure where to find it. i need to go to radio shack and pick up some more heat wrap but other than that its pretty close to done, i'll post pics up when i get it fully done. Thanks in advance guys. oh i have an 06 tC
va_connoisseur
If you are not installing a reverse camera, you can use the reverse sensing wire. Or the power antenna wire if you car does not require that. A
Nebster
well i'm using a reverse camera. but i just have a little nub on the back of my car for an antenna. So just rip out the power antenna wire in the pioneer harness and throw it in that blank slot? will my am/fm not work if i do that?
jimmy303
If your antenna is amplified, it will require power to get decent reception. If you don't have any other wire to use for your bypass, you could always hook the power lead for the am/fm antenna to accessory.
tillithz
uhh cell phone mute? yellow with black trace? chances are your not using that before you you use ant. or amp. or ignition even. and uhh you dont just "rip" it out, if you search the hack info and read how to do it, you will see that you take the pin out a certain way.
