nyzeb Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 I have an OLD avic N-2 and am looking to upgrade and for the past month trying to decide what to go with. Cost is def a consideration but I found I can get the z120 for $1,100 or the x920 for $750 at al-eds.com (plus MIR for $100 I think....is that still going on???) What are some of the big differences between the two....If I buy the x920 can I use the pandora link? Do I have to pay for upgrades to it? Is the Nav similar on both? If anyone has the x920 can you let me know how you like it and what you don't like? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really on the fence on which to get any thoughts would be great, Thanks! 1loudls Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 i personally would recommend the 920, units with motorized faces are much more prone to breaking and wearing out, and the slightly bigger screen is just not worth it. as an installer, most mobile video units breaking are due to motorized screens.
