Droid 2 facebook contacts on F900bt

I just got a droid. My son added my facebook, which brought in 300+ contacts and their phone numbers which synced to my avic. Is there anyone to retain these contacts on my phone, but not have them all transfer to the avic. I was thinking of disconnecting my facebook account from my phone, then syncing to the avic, then disabling the phonebook transfer. I'm not sure how to do this. Is there something else I should try?

You could use Testmode to copy the contact DB to an SD card, then use one of the phonebook editors in the Hacks forum to remove entries you don't want. Once that's done, you re-copy the DB back to the AVIC using Testmode. I'm planning to do this process later today, as I too just received a Droid 2 and don't want the kitchen sink on the AVIC.
