Question AVIC-Z120BT and AVIC-Z110BT

Hi is there a difference with the AVIC-Z120BT and AVIC-Z110BT I have an 2002 acura tl type s the pioneer fit guide shows AVIC-Z110BT for my car but if I can I want to get the AVIC-Z120BT does anyone know if they are the same size thanks Ed

Because their charts haven't been updated, nothing more complicated then that.

If you can find the Z110 far cheaper than the Z120, then you could buy the Z110 and update the software to make it a Z120. You could either buy the software update for $130 - $200 ($200 is list price) or you could download the SD images and visit the hack thread for the DIY instructions.

 

It all depends on if you can get a good enough deal on a clearance priced Z110, and how much effort you are willing to put into the project.

 

BTW, if you buy the update, it won't affect your warrantee.
