brianfromky
I have an AVIC X710BT. When I first had it installed in November, all was good. I have updated now to the newest firmware. I have also updated my 160 GB iPod Classic to the newest firmware. The sound will be fine and then without warning it will go to just one speaker. It can be any speaker. Disconnecting the iPod cable at the USB connection port or the iPod port itself will remedy the issue for a few minutes until it happens again. It does not matter if the car is moving or staying still. I have wiped and reloaded songs onto the iPod and done a hard reset. I thought that maybe 135 GB of music was too much for the Pioneer unit to handle, so right now there is only 15 GB of music on the iPod, but that didn't change anything. The iPod works fine in a dock and there does not appear to be damage to the iPod unit itself. There are no loose connections in the iPod cable. Any ideas on why this would happen?
