I have the C2R-FRD1 pac harness. So it has that connection already?

I had the same thing. Replaced ipod cable as a last resort and it worked.

Maybe the amp itself has been the problem all along, I don't have any of the problems with the same car. And close to the same set up.

Where does this wire go on an 09 Mustang? Thanks

I just installed this radio last week and you got me thinking that I hadn't really cranked it with the bass turned all the way up, so I ran out to the car and tested it and all is good. Hope the neibors weren't sleeping.

I have an 09 Mustang using the same pac harness and everything is working fine. The only thing that is different is that I have installed a sub woofer in the back. So the amp(apline) that powers that sub is plugged into the sub out on the pioneer, then off of that amp I run rca cable from the alpine pre amp out back up to the front and plug it into the pac harness so that the cars factory amp will still get sound to the front door subs. My only problem is because both amps use the same blue/white wire that switches on the amps when the radio is on I get the pop in the front door subs which t

I figured it out. If the ipod itself is set to shuffle off then every time you shut the car off the deck reverts back to the ipods settings. So I just set the ipod to "shuffle on" and now on the deck shuffle stays on. Every deck I've had before with ipod controls keeps shuffle on or off no matter how the ipod itself is set. kinda of a pain put at least I know how to get around it.

When I set up the ipod to shuffle, then turn the car off, when I turn everything back on it starts on the song where it left off but shuffle mode is back to off. Should it stay on to until I turn it off? Thanks

Thanks for the heads up on the sale just got bought it with the xm radio tuner for $633 plus I'll get a 100 dollars back after rebate. I was going to buy it else where for 655 with no xm tuner or 100 dollar rebate, and I thought that was a good deal.

How is the voice dialing?

I have an 08 4runner and put the xm tuner under the passengers seat. Don't have HDradio but looks like you could but both under the seat or on under each of the front seats. The ipod cable I ran to the glove box. There is not enough room behind the head unit for the radio tuners. If you put under the seat just don't block the heater vents, set them on top. I just secured the xm tuner with velcro to the floor
