reinkarnation Posted October 1, 2010 Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 Hey guys, I got parking sensors and reverse camera installed in my truck.... its is connected to the Reverse parking wire, It only works when it is put in reverse (which makes sense) But how do i use it while im driving..... i changed the mode to Back Camera on the sitting where it shoes Half the map and Half Camera, but for the camera side its just Black nothing comes up, i know this must have something to do with it being connected to the reverse light... as well... i have the camera connected to the Brown input marked rear view cam or whatever? any tips on what i gotta do to get it to work while I am driving aswell.... and could the problem be that its a sensor and camera package steelmate ptsv401 and that if it were powered to work while driving forward the sensors would be constantly beeping??? VBLUE42 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 This means the camera is powered off of the reverse light. It should be powered off of the 12 volt switched wire. Just as the install instructions dictate. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
